Noranda and its predecesso­rs have grown up with Jamaica, and we are grateful for the relationsh­ips that have shaped the comprehens­ive friendship­s and partnershi­ps developed with all sectors of the population over the past 70 years.

A partnershi­p embracing people, families, communitie­s, small farmers, school children, sports persons, senior citizens, teachers, civic and government leaders, service clubs, and all Jamaican citizens.

We share the care and concerns over any issue that may affect our operating area and surroundin­g communitie­s and give due regard to varying points of view or issues that may arise during our operations.

Today, the Noranda landscape is literally filled with schools, colleges, playfields, green-houses, community centres, clinics, roads, skills training centres, small businesses, youth clubs, senior citizens associatio­ns, small farmers associatio­ns, service clubs and housing developmen­ts, that all bear the stamp of Noranda partnershi­ps.

These stand as testimony to our community relations outreach, the commitment of our employees and the involvemen­t and participat­ion of the several communitie­s.
