Letter writer Wesley Thomas on Taino artefacts find

What a marvellous story find of Taino artefacts recently found to coincide with the Jamaica Independence 57. This article was published in The Gleaner newspaper dated August 7, 2019. The Jamaica Heritage Trust is so blessed to have had these 500-year-old artefacts found in the hills of Hellshire handed over to them. With such a rare find, nowadays artefacts such as these are usually flown overseas to various auction houses to get the best bid price. Well done to all those involved.
