Coming Sunday | Expect more ‘noise’ on Cockpit Country, Mr Morgan
A group of environmentalists and civil-society lobbyists respond to Robert Morgan’s defence of the Government’s proposed Cockpit Country Protected Area (CCPA) boundary, which they say does not protect all historically, ecologically, and culturally important sites.
They write: “If the underground flows in the southeastern region of Cockpit Country merit protection – as evidenced by their inclusion in the CCPA designated boundary – why didn’t their continuation through the northeast to their emergence at Dornock Head Rising and Rio Bueno warrant the same treatment?”
