Phillips did worse to damage PNP

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I WANT to thank the One PNP camp for opening my eyes and giving me an insight into how wrong I was.

At first, I did not support a challenge, but based on the recent events highlighted on social media, the One PNP team has become reckless, intent on damaging the party.

Do not call Peter Bunting irresponsible because he has challenged Dr Peter Phillips, because Dr Phillips twice sought to wrest the leadership from Portia Simpson Miller.

Most People’s National Party (PNP) supporters have not forgiven Dr Phillips for what he did to Mrs Simpson Miller, and we might punish him for that at the generation election if he wins the internal poll.

If Dr Phillips has never genuinely defended Mrs Simpson Miller’s legacy, how then can he lead the party? So why should PNP supporters vote for him now?
