INDUSTRY CHAMPIONS PARTNER TO PREPARE STUDENTS FOR THE WORLD OF WORK

Thursday August 15. 2019, industry champions—Jamaica Producers Group, Bureau of Standards Jamaica and Grace Kennedy Limited—joined the Advance Program in celebrating public/private partnerships in higher education. They inspired a room filled with education stakeholders by signing memoranda of understanding, with the Council of Community Colleges of Jamaica, to improve work readiness and training for Jamaican youth. These partnerships will expose students to industry best practices and knowledge needed to excel in the workplace.
