Growing exponentially

IAM pleased to share in this important occasion and to convey congratulations from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information. The celebration of this important milestone under the theme ‘Fifty Years of Learning For Living’ is in keeping with the vision that the Government has for all levels of education in Jamaica. Education is an investment, and like any investment, it must generate the best return, which, in this instance, is the greater impactful development of our country. This special anniversary year is an opportune time for you to also reflect on and renew your commitment to charting a path to further advance the national goal of providing children with the very best learning environment. I am confident that given your school’s remarkable achievements to date, you will successfully meet this challenge.

Since its humble beginnings in 1969, with 12 students, the institution has grown exponentially and currently has an impressive student enrolment of 706 preparatory and high school children. I am pleased to note with interest that this private institution provides the International Middle Years Curriculum, International General Certificate of Secondary Education, and the most extensive International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in Jamaica. I must acknowledge the parents, teachers, well-wishers, and the Jewish community for its ministry of partnership with the Government. Collectively, you have placed a high premium on education, providing a caring environment where all stakeholders can develop spiritually, academically, emotionally, and physically to their highest level.
