• The JSE Index declined by 1,867.86 points (0.46%) to close at 400,487.74 points

• The Junior Market Index declined by 99.56 points (2.18%) to close at 4,464.82 points

• The JSE Combined Index declined by 2,632.86 points (0.63%) to close at 414,590.52 points

• The JSE All Jamaican Composite Index declined by 2,109.81 points (0.46%) to close at 458,827.85 points

• The JSE Select Index declined by 54.26 points (0.51%) to close at 10,505.60

• The JSE USD Equities Index declined by 1.00 points (0.44%) to close at 223.97 points

• The JSE Cross Listed Index declined by 0.32 points (0.49%) to close at 64.56 points

• The JSE Financial Index closed at 94.50

• The JSE Manufacturing & Distribution Index declined by 1.08 points (0.94%) to close at 114.20 points.

Overall market activity resulted from trading in 110 stocks of which 43 advanced, 60 declined and 7 traded firm.

The JA$ market volume (excluding blocks) amounted to 43,633,879 units valued at $580,919,486.30. The US$ market volume (excluding blocks) amounted to 566,691 units valued at $14,365.72.

The overall volume leaders were: TRANSJAMAICAN HIGHWAY LIMITED with 5,397,179 units (12.21%); JFP LIMITED with 5,084,807 units (11.50%); and FUTURE ENERGY SOURCE COMPANY LIMITED with 3,907,884 units (8.84%)
