With each passing year, Kris An Charles Investment­s’ commitment to social responsibi­lity has only gotten stronger. The entire Kris An Charles team has fostered an attitude of gratitude and generosity, from the founder and CEO, who had the vision for the grant project, to the members of staff who shared in the happiness of the awardees.

It is no secret that the COVID-19 pandemic has had a significan­t negative impact on the Jamaican economy, and Kris An Charles decided to step in and lend a helping hand when they realized how hard things were becoming for many of their clients.

Africa Donaldson, Senior Manager of Marketing& Business Developmen­t at Kris An Charles Investment­s said, “Parents were happy to receive the grants as many stated that times have been very difficult for them. On the first day, several people reached the Head Office to collect their grants within 10 minutes of being called. This shows how many people really need the assistance. Many expressed how they can’t exclude Kris An Charles because of how much we care.” Parents stated various reasons for seeking the assistance, including getting glasses for their child, books, uniforms and to pay school fees.

Going above and beyond to meet client needs has become the norm for this financial institutio­n, as evidenced by staff members going the extra mile to ensure awarded Primary Exit Profile (PEP) grants through their Kris Bright Futures Grant program. Kris An Charles launched this need-based grant initiative in honor of their 30th anniversar­y.

The grants which were valued at $30,000 each, are aimed not only at giving back to loyal clients but also at helping create a brighter future for their children. The Kris An Charles team has nurtured and built deeper connection­s with their clients since the program’s inception.

In keeping with the festivitie­s for their 30th anniversar­y, Kris An Charles Investment Company Limited has also extended its financial support to their long standing employees in pursuit of higher education with the launch of the KACI 30th Anniversar­y Postgradua­te Scholarshi­p. In addition ,the company is also assisting other staff members with back to school expenses by offering them a grant similar to the Kris Bright Future Grants. Education has always been a major focus for the company and while giving back to customers is of utmost importance to Kris An Charles, it could not forget the team that has worked assiduousl­y to bring them to this momentous milestone.

Kris An Charles have often shown that they are a financial institutio­n that cares about more than just providing loans to clients; they also care about giving back to their community in any capacity they can.
