JSE COMBINED MARKET SUMMARY

In Thursday’s trading session the following reflects the movement of the JSE Indices:

• The JSE Index declined by 1,426.90 points (0.42%) to close at 340,945.48 points and the volume traded amounted to 12,878,672 valued at $32,824,073.86.

• The Junior Market Index declined by 72.07 points ( 1.79 %) to close at 3,963.89 points and the volume traded amounted to 11,460,696 valued at $29,877,309.90.

• The JSE Combined Index declined by 1,992.86 points (0.56%) to close at 354,438.51 points and the volume traded amounted to 24,339,368 valued at $62,701,383.76.

• The JSE All Jamaican Composite Index declined by 1,548.29 points (0.40%) to close at 386,984.31 points and the volume traded amounted to 12,876,398 valued at $32,546,069.26.

• The JSE Select Index declined by 12.62 points (0.15%) to close at 8,511.83 points and the volume traded amounted to 654,186 valued at $16,317,689.38.

• The JSE USD Equities Index declined by 10.15 points (4.43%) to close at 219.13 points and the volume traded amounted to 384,296 valued at $23,977.57.

• The JSE Cross Listed Index declined by 0.29 points (0.50 %) to close at 57.56 points and the volume traded amounted to 2,193 valued at $278,004.60.

• The JSE Financial Index declined by 0.24 points (0.29%) to close at 81.51 points and the volume traded amounted to 2,945,852 valued at $18,473,750.69.

• The JSE Manufacturing & Distribution Index declined by 0.86 points (0.90%) to close at 94.62 points and the volume traded amounted to 8,736,705 valued at $28,393,011.56.

Overall market activity resulted from trading in 109 stocks of which 29 advanced, 61 declined and 19 traded firm.

The JA$ market volume (excluding blocks) amounted to 24,339,368 units valued at $62,701,383.76.
