DIANDRA ROWE – NATIONAL WOMAN CHAMPION FARMER 2023-2024 & CARICOM YOUNG CHAMPION FARMER OF THE YEAR 2023

DIANDRA ROWE is the managing director at Abbey Garden Farm , located in Kingsland, Manchester. She is a third-generation farmer who has been exposed to farming her entire life.

Diandra is a graduate of the University of Technology Jamaica, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Resort Management in the year 2012. After completing her studies, she worked in several jobs within the sales industry. Despite excelling within that field, she decided to step away in order to focus on the family’s greenhouse farm in January 2015.

Diandra believes that success is not an accident and dreams don’t become reality through magic. They require grit, determinat­ion, and hard work. For her work in the field of agricultur­e, she has won several awards, namely:

Diandra is also a member of the Jamaica Greenhouse Growers Benevolent Society and a proud Nutramix Youth in Agricultur­e Ambassador. She also works closely with several schools from the primary to tertiary level by accommodat­ing tours, work-experience programmes, and internship­s.

She has found farming to be a very fulfilling job, and she made it her point of duty to continue to make a positive impact on her community and the agricultur­e sector. It is her deepest desire to continue to expand the family business for the benefit of many generation­s to come.
