Tourist attacked by crocodile on golf course

ABritish tourist was attacked by a crocodile as he played a golf shot at a luxury resort.

Dougie Thomson is now planning to sue the destination after being mauled by the 12- foot beast as he geared up to play a shot at the Iberostar Cancun Golf Club course in Cancun, Mexico, where he was for his friend’s wedding.

The 58- year- old man might now require plastic surgery on his leg as a result of the attack.

He is quoted by the Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: “My leg is a complete mess. Surgeons had to sew up the muscle and I have two tubes in.

“The doctors said I will have to think about getting plastic surgery.”

However, the course refuses to accept the blame for Dougie’s injury and insist they provided warnings about the “unique characteristics” of the course.
