Charly Black gearing up for a busy weekend

Popular dancehall artiste Charly Black is gearing up for a very busy weekend.

He will be one of the guest performers at Little Hero’s, Oracle, album release party that will be held at Roxborough in St Ann’s Bay, St Ann, today. The following day, he is booked to appear at Lutan Fyah’s Birthday Bash in Sanguinett­i in Clarendon.

“On Friday, I’m going to perform at Little Hero’s album launch. He’s launching his album and I am going there to support him by performing at his party. On Saturday night, I am going to Clarendon to perform at Lutan Fayah’s birthday party. As artistes, we have to support each other” said Charly Black in a release to the media yesterday.

The hard-working deejay is currently promoting his new mix-tape called, Top General, that was mixed by DJ Fido of the Mentally Disturbed sound system.

“So far, the mix-tape is doing well, it’s getting a lot of love from the fans both locally and abroad. My team has given out several hundred copies of it in the streets already, and it’s getting a lot of download hits online,” said the entertaine­r, who is known for a number of hit songs.

The video for his single titled, Loyalty, is doing well on a number of local charts. It is currently in the numberthre­e position on the Dancehall Chart on the popular Hit List show which is aired weekly on, CVM TV on Fridays and Saturdays.

Charley Black recently released two brand-new tracks, namely, After Tonight and Free Of Cost, featuring Trelawny Citizen. Both songs were produced by Studio Vibes Production on the Happy Smile rhythm.
