Cherelle-Rose Patterson crowned Miss Jamaica UK
Twenty-four-year-old Cherelle-Rose Patterson, was crowned Miss Jamaica UK recently at the Camden Centre in London, England. She captured the audience with her beauty and innocent charm.
Cherelle was representing the parish of Manchester, where her family home is.
Cherelle won the title over 13 other beautiful contestants, with rounds which included swimwear, evening wear and Q&A. Her evening wear was by Stardust Boutique in Wales.
Cherelle is set to compete in the Miss Jamaica Universe pageant next year and says her blood, sweat, and tears will go into preparing for what she calls her dream.
Cherelle’s flawless hair and make-up was done by celebrity duo Dionne Smith and Joy Adenuga, whose work has blessed many black magazines in the UK.
When asked what winning meant to her, she replied: “It’s a dream come true. I can’t wait to show the world how fantastic Jamaican culture is and share my experience with them.”
