‘Gal Dem We Love’ heating up the streets

-

Rizing Starz Records flagship artiste Dimon has been heating up the streets with his breakout single, Gal Dem We Love, which has become an anthem in the streets of Portmore, St Catherine, and the Corporate Area.

“I have been getting a lot of love. Everybody is accepting the music well, even little kids ah sing mi song. It’s a good feeling,” Dimon said

He will be gearing up to release a new single, Touch Di Road, on Russian’s Production, and he will be doing work with producer Vivian Thomas of PushaYute Productions. Things are looking up for this young blood who resides in Naggo Head in Portmore.

RECENT CHATTER

Dimon is feeling so great that even the recent chatter online and in the streets that fellow reggaedancehall artiste I-Octane ‘borrowed’ Dimon’s “gal dem we love” phrase in Wine And Jiggle, doesn’t even bother him.

“Imitation is the best form of flattery. Nuff people say it to me say him ah use mi style, but mi just brush it off. He is a well known artiste and if he can borrow something that I have and use it in his intro..well, that means I am doing something right. All mi can do is continue to put out good music and stay original,” Dimon said.

In the meantime, he continues to promote Gal Dem We Love. Dimon says his song was first played last year October by DJ Wayne on IRIE FM and the video, which was released this May, is still in steady rotation on HYPE, CVM and E PLUS.

“The song gets constant airplay by almost every disk jock on SunCity Radio. Fans can purchase and hear Gal Dem We Love on Reverbnation.com, so right now ah just crazy promotion,” he said.

Fans can come out and see Dimon perform live tomorrow at the show dubbed ‘Portmore Jamboree’ at Naggo Head Taxi Stand in Portmore. The treat and stage show is a collaborative effort between SunCity Radio and Sunshine Youths from Naggo Head with proceeds aiding the senior citizen development and Bridgeport Primary School.

“It feels good to be doing something good for the community,” Dimon, who is a member of the Sunshine Youths organisation, said.
