Notis brings joy with ‘Body & Soul’ rhythm

-

Notis Records, formerly known as Notis Productions, recently released a new rhythm titled ‘Body and Soul’, which has a total of 12 tracks with big-name artistes such as Christopher Martin, D Major, Charly Black and Iba MaHr.

What is remarkable about the drum and bass duo Unga Barunga and Welsh Bass is the attention paid to details, their unique arrangements, and of course their creativity, all of which are apparent in this musical offering.

There’s no set formula for creating a hit, and every artiste offers something different, but they have remained true in their pursuit of a “feel good type of music” that seems to complement the kind of new-age rockaz sound they specialise in.

Unga describes their style of music as distinctly reggae fusion and dancehall. This, he said, is the type of bright and soulful music that would make any listener want to dance.

“This body of work was compiled to bring a soulful but equally uplifting vibes that anyone can enjoy. That is my mantra, to bring joy and meaning through music,” Unga said.

The duo’s album is already hailed as a masterpiece, and is available for purchase on various digital platforms via Zojak World Wide.

Their catalogue includes the Heart and Soul rhythm, which features artistes such as Busy Signal, Hezron and Jah Cure. They have also produced individual singles, such as Diamond Sox by Iba MaHr and Gimmie Likkle by Jesse Royal.
