CCU names Jamaica’s top five most wanted men

The Constabula­ry Communicat­ions Unit of the Jamaica Constabula­ry Force has issued its list of the top five most wanted men. They are: Charles Hamilton, aka Tuggy Tuggy; Ryan Peterkin, otherwise called Ratty, of Cambridge, St James; Kniko St Aubyn Walters, otherwise called Speckles of Sevens Road, May Pen, Clarendon; Davion Brown, aka Balti, of Westmorela­nd; and Shaniel Lutan of Farm Heights, Montego Bay, St James.

Hamilton was found guilty on July 27, 2016 for illegal possession of firearm and shooting with intent. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison, but escaped custody. He frequents Love Lane, Annotto Bay, St Mary, and Hermitage Dam Road, Stony Hill, St Andrew.

Peterkin is wanted for murder and shooting committed in the St James and Hanover divisions in 2016. He is involved in lottery scamming activities in the Cambridge area.

Walters is wanted for shooting with intent (committed against the police) and is aligned to the Red Square gang. He frequents areas such as Long Gully, Bucks Common, Juno Crescent, Chapleton, Canaan Heights, and Race Course. Brown is wanted for murder committed at Great George Street, Savanna- la-Mar, Westmorela­nd. He is listed as a person of interest in three other murders and one shooting incident. Lutan is wanted for a double murder committed on August 1, 2012. He escaped custody on November 30, 2015. He was previously charged with the offence of larceny from the person and was convicted on November 8, 2007, in the Montego Bay Resident Magistrate’s Court in St James.

He was sentenced to two years probation.
