Found out I slept with my cousin

Dear Pastor, I am 18 years old and have been with my boyfriend for five years. My boyfriend is now in prison for something he did not do.

One day I went to visit him, and I met another man when I was leaving. He was really nice-looking. I liked him and he liked me. We have been going out for the past six months.

One night, he picked me up from work and took me to his place. We started talking about what I want out of life.

The conversation changed to sex and I was really turned on by him. We started kissing and it led to sex. I felt like I was in love with him and he felt the same way.

I am pretty close with my cousin’s babymother and I thought of introducing him to them. When I introduced them, I heard my cousin’s babymother, shout, “That’s your cousin!”

I fell to the floor and started crying. I had opened my legs and fallen in love with someone who is related to me by blood. I really do not know what to do, because I am in love with him and he is my cousin.

I dug deeply into my family tree. He is my grandfather’s first cousin’s child. Are we close cousins or distant cousins? Please tell me what to do, because I do not know. T.W.
