Hezron pleads for peace in MoBay
After his performance at the Entertainers vs Crime and Violence event at Dump Up Beach and at ZOSO Bring Back the Love Concert in Mount Salem in Montego Bay, Hezron believes that there is still more to be done for the city, especially for the new year.
The reggae recording artiste, who hails from St James, is currently advocating for peace through his music.
He is also encouraging other artistes from the parish to be more active in the fight against crime and violence for 2018.
In 2016, he released the single MoBay, produced by Addis Records Production from Europe. The single speaks to several concerns of the city’s residents and seeks to encourage positive living among them.
“I believe that the issues in Montego Bay were neglected for a long time, and I am in awe at what is taking place, and I hope that my music can bring awareness and further encourage change at this time and for 2018,” he said.
Hezron is now focused on reintroducing the single to the market as a means of helping his cause.
Known for popular singles such as Taxi Driver, So In Love, Forever and Always, and Can’t Come Between Us, Hezron has managed to remain relevant and consistent in reggae music.
His most recent album, The Life I Live Continues (Soulful Salvation), consists of 17 tracks and was launched at Level 96 on Hope Road, St Andrew, in October.
