Curvy Diva eyes Lifestyle party series

After an extremely successful staging of the Lifestyle Pool Party, which was held to celebrate Yanique ‘Curvy Diva’ Barrett’s birthday, the planning team has decided to launch the Lifestyle brand as an official party series.

The team, consisting of party promoter Andrew Ellis, who is known for events like Sandz and Triple Thursdays, Yanique, and her agent, Streetcred Jamaica, had put Yanique’s vision into the staging of the Lifestyle Pool Party with the intention of expanding the brand.

“The Lifestyle brand is tied directly to my first hit single of the same name and was a great choice for my birthday party — fun, sexy and ‘flossy’. With the success of the first staging now under our belt, fans have already started asking about the next staging of Lifestyle,” Yanique shared

The series will see the event being various venues islandwide and, eventually, overseas.

“We are looking at varying themes going forward, with multiple stagings per year in Jamaica and then taking the brand worldwide. The Lifestyle series has great potential to be one of Jamaica’s leading events with one of the hottest artistes and hosts driving it,” Andrew Ellis added.

The team will be looking at working with various brands and sponsors, and, according to the promoters, those who had already come on board for the first staging, along with additional brands, are showing great interest in the upcoming stagings of the series.

The next Lifestyle event is set to be staged later this year in Kingston.
