My man doesn’t want me to have an abortion

-

Dear Pastor, I am 18 years , and I am pregnant. I can’t believe that I am pregnant because my boyfriend and I were very careful, and we don’t usually have unprotected sex. However, the first time that we did it without using a condom, I got pregnant. This pregnancy is only two months old, and the father is telling me not to get rid of it. He is 40 years old and currently getting a divorce from his wife. Right now, I am staying at his home. My parents think that I am staying with the people I am boarding with. My fiancé is a businessman, so he is abroad doing business. Words can’t tell you how much I love this man. this would be his very first child. He and his wife did not have any children, and she is older than he is. My parents don’t know him, but I told them I have a boyfriend. I didn’t mean to get pregnant. He is not my first boyfriend, but he is the first real man for me. My first boyfriend was my age, and he is still around in the country. This man fits my size. He told me that he wants me to carry the child and go to school at the same time. He said that if I have to stop, I can and go back to school after. He has two lovely homes. His wife is rich, and sometimes she would curse him and call him ‘black b***h’. He is really not black; he is of a light complexion. He is talking to his lawyer about what she has to get. I am happy that I have this man, but I am not happy to be pregnant, because I don’t know what to do, and that is why I am writing to you for your advice. J.E. Dear J.E., I don’t need to even comment about this man and you failing to use protection and you getting pregnant as a result. You are an adult, and you know that if you were to have unprotected sex it is likely that you would become pregnant. But you are attending school, and if you thought that you must have sex, you should have protected yourself. I cannot encourage you to have an abortion. You are a healthy girl. Your life is not threatened. You were not raped, so regardless of the circumstances that are ahead, have your baby. Pastor
