Ben Affleck wants to do more family films

-

Ben Affleck wants to take on more roles in family films — because he wants his kids to see his work. The 45-year-old actor’s filmography includes many adult dramas and thrillers, such as Good Will Hunting, Gone Girl and The Accountant, and it has only been his performances as Batman in the DC Extended Universe films which have been suitable for his three kids – Violet, 12, Seraphina, nine, and Samuel, six.

Affleck – who raises his three children with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner — is now keen to move into kids’ cinema so his family can see him on the big screen before they grow up.

A source told the latest issue of America’s OK! magazine: “He’s searching for a role in a fun, PG movie. He wants to be his kids’ hero ... Ben’s kids love old Disney movies like The Absent-Minded Professor, so he’d love to do a remake of one of those.”

‘The Absent-Minded Professor was released in 1961 by Disney and is based on Samuel W. Taylor’s short story A Situation of Gravity. It follows lead character Professor Ned Brainard — played by Fred MacMurray — who invents a new type of flying rubber he names ‘flubber’.

Kendall Jenner and Apple have settled a lawsuit over her radio show. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and her friend, Daniel Chetrit, were hit by a lawsuit from Robert Karageuzian over the ‘Pizza Boys’ programme she launched with Apple’s Beats 1 in April, but the dispute is now over.

According to documents obtained by The Blast, a letter to the judge stated: “We represent defendants Daniel Chetrit and Kendall Jenner in the above-captioned action and respectfully submit this letter with consent of defendant Apple Inc and Plaintiff Robert Karageuzian. We write to advise the court that the parties have reached an agreement in principle to settle this matter.” No details of the settlement were given. Robert is the founder of Pizzaboyzzz, an art collective and online store, featuring an assortment of works and merchandise, and claimed to own the trademark for Pizzaboyzzz.

The company argued that Kendall’s show – which never went beyond one episode – caused customer confusion and harmed their business, and previously sent a cease-anddesist letter to halt any merchandise sales and advertising of the broadcast.

They also sought an injunction that would prevent both Kendall and Apple from using the Pizza Boys name.
