CD Banging teams up with Wayne Wonder

Well-known music insider CD Banging is making major moves to build his brand by joining forces with dancehall star Wayne Wonder and his Sing So Production­s label.

“Wayne Wonder, Frankie Sly and I have built a thing called the Team Suprize Crew with several other fraternity members. I am about to do a distributi­on deal with Sing So Production­s, Wayne Wonder’s company. He will do my distributi­on and publishing. Right now, we a do road hard. I have my own shop, Shop 97 at Constant Spring Arcade. The ting up. Come in and do business, the brand a build,” the mixtape DJ, whose real name is Omar McNab, said.

Other members of Team Surprize are new artistes Kadijah, C 9, Don Diesel, Double K, Badda General and Chester. CD Banging is also a multi-tasker of epic proportion­s as he is a dancehall deejay, selector, promoter, road manager a major street-mix DJ and a producer. He is primarily known for his high-energy street mixes, and he has carved out a decent niche for himself as one of the top street-mix DJs in the Corporate Area. CD Banging’s mixes regularly rack up major figures online and strong sales in the streets.

He recently released the Street Gad rhythm featuring songs by heavy hitters such as Wayne Wonder, Frankie Sly, Mr Chumps, Jah Don and Khalia, as well as a combinatio­n between Double K and CD Banging himself. The rhythm, which was released on the Bangology Production label, was built by Billboard-charting producer Tony Kelly.
