Trooper, Tommy Lee plot Portland explosion

Veteran selector Ricky Trooper says he will give his fans a musical show at Magnum Star Live Series on Saturday, October 27 at the Cristal Nite Club in Port Antonio, Portland. Trooper, who has more than 40 years selecting experience under his belt, told THE STAR that he has a thing for Portlanders. “I have a very large fan base in Portland. I am going to take them through the genres. Magnum Star Live is going to be the best experience to close off the last part of the year,” Trooper said. Magnum Star Live is one of the latest live entertainment series, where patrons from various rural parishes will be able to experience performances from their favourite artistes and rock to juggling from top sectors. There will be an in-paper element to the series as well with features on the artiste, selectors and the parish where the event will take place. Tommy Lee Sparta will kick-start the artiste performance aspect of the series, which is sponsored by Magnum Xplosion, SpyTech and KonkaEnergy Drink.

Trooper is adamant that patrons who attend the event at Cristal Nite Club will be treated to great entertainment.

“It won’t be about top 10 songs. Is a show I am going to give, a musical show. You have Ricky Trooper, the current 2018 BOOM Clash Champion as well as Tommy Lee Sparta in performance. It a guh mad,” Trooper said.

Trooper has won five sound clashes this year.

“We kill Tech 9 from New York a couple weeks ago. The BOOM Clash out here included, and we kill a sound a Canada, so we hot,” a cheerful Trooper told THE STAR.
