Craiggis salutes good fathers on new track

-

Singer Craiggis has penned a heartfelt song titled ‘Daddy’s Little Angel’. In the singer’s own words, the song, which was produced by Paradox Musiq Ent, represents the love and bond that a father and his daughter share while highlighting the fact that there are many good fathers out there. The track was officially released on October 26, and the artiste shares that inspiration for the song first came in 2016 when he was babysitting his then two-year-old daughter Cournique. “I was just vibing, singing, and chanting, then the song came about. Luckily, I had my digital voice recorder with me to capture the moment,” he said. The song is currently in its early stages of promotion and is already gaining traction in a few countries, such as England, Ghana, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, and Jamaica. Craiggis is overwhelmed by the feedback so far and is confident that it will be well-received. It’s already a number one song for his inspiration – his daughter. “Daddy’s Little Angel is my daughter’s favourite song,” he said proudly. “It’s a love song about her, and that makes it very personal and special to me.” A compelling music video is in the works and is intended to put the spotlight on good fathers, highlighting strong father-daughter relationships. A singer who promotes “music with a message” in a modern-day reggae/dancehall style, Craiggis is known for songs such as Ghetto Life, Friends B4 Fame and Deadly Road, which features Navino. He also released a 28-track mixtape earlier this year titled Millions Pon Millions. Daddy’s Little Angel will serve as the lead single on the singer’s first EP, which is expected to be released soon. Not yet named, the project will consist of seven or eight tracks.
