Baby found in bushes doing well

Ababy who was found in bushes in the Kingston Gardens community on Monday is said to be doing well.

According to reports from the Allman Town police, the child is at the Bustamante Hospital for Children.

One witness told the news team that at about 5 p.m., children were playing in the community when they heard a baby crying.

The children alerted the adults nearby who took the baby from the bushes.

According to one witness, two women were seen passing by with a child a short time before they were alerted.

In a video that quickly gained the attention of social media users, the child was seen with a baby’s towel wrapped around its head and people were calling out for the attention of an adult.

A woman was heard in the background crying as a man held the child.

“Look how dem wrap up the whole a the baby head fi kill the baby,” the person cried.

While the crowd gathered, a man was heard in the background calling the police.

Many social media users were not pleased with the mother’s actions, while others were sympatheti­c towards her.

“Can’t believe, I’m crying,” one user wrote.

Another stated: “The baby is well clothed and everything intact ... Postpartum Depression is no joke. Y’all should get informed and stop being so quick to judge what y’all don’t know.”
