of contract with Lille, made her intentions clear when she found the equalizer for the French giants two minutes later.

FINAL ATTACK

Bilbao went ahead yet again when Nekane Diez found the back of the net four minutes before halftime and seemingly saw Bilbao ending the first half with the lead. Shaw, however, disabused that motion when with the final attack of the first half; she poked the ball home to level the game at 2-2.

She would return for her double eight minutes into the second half and put Bordeaux into the lead for the first time in the match to put the game at 3-2. Axelle Touzeau would seal the game when she added Bordeaux’s fourth in the dying moments of the match.

Shaw signed a two-year deal with the French club which was announced on June 7, the same day which opened 2019 Women’s World Cup where Shaw went on to make three appearances for the Jamaican team.

The Girondines return the action on Sunday where they will face off against Spanish opponents Real Sociedad in their second preseason match to help their preparations for the upcoming season later this month.

Bordeaux’s first fixture of the Division 1 Féminine will be against FC Fleury 91 on August 24.
