Molynes have grabbed the attention of RSPL fans with backto-back victories in their first two games. Last week‘s win proved that they have resilience, a quality they will have to display quite often if they want to make it to the playoffs. After being down 2-0 against UWI FC after 47 minutes, they rallied back for an exhilarati­ng 3-2 win to stay perfect in their debut campaign.

HARBOUR VIEW

Harbour View continue to restore their pride in local football after a tumultuous 2018-19 campaign. They registered a victory at home last Monday, a feat they only managed to accomplish twice last season, beating Cavalier 3-0.

Rumour has it that they are still trying to fix the net that Kevon Farquharso­n tore through with Harbour View’s second goal. After a hard fought away win at Mount Pleasant on opening week, the Stars of the East took care of business at home against Cavalier SC

VERE UNITED

It took them a little longer to make their league debut but they made sure that it was memorable occasion, securing a 2-0 win over defending champions Portmore United.

ARNETT GARDENS

The first west Kingston derby of the season against Tivoli Gardens wasn’t one for the archives, but Damari Deacon in the 88th minute was the difference in a 1-0 win for the Junglists to get their first three points of the campaign.

WATERHOUSE

Last season’s finalist started their campaign late due to Concacaf League commitment­s, but they followed up their round of 16 upset of defending champions Herediano with a 1-0 win away to Dunbeholde­n.
