I prefer older men

Dear Pastor,

I’m almost 15 and honestly, I’ve been involved with older men. I am a very intelligent girl. I have found myself getting attached and attracted to them.

I don’t need a boyfriend. I just want to stay free and enjoy myself.

I’m big in body, so men always thinks that I’m older than my age, but I’m wise enough to not have sex with all who put words to me.

I only have sex with one guy. He is 36 but he looks really young. I love him and he loves me, too. He is always there for me.

But I don’t know if what I’m doing is right. I’m jealous of him in whatever he does. Tell me if I’m doing something bad.

You prefer older men. It is not something to be ashamed of. Some girls see older men as father figures that they did not have when they were growing up.

Their fathers were not around, so to speak. Some see older men as mature and protective, and young guys as frivolous and a waste of time.

However, many older men have one thing in mind, and that is to have sex with very young girls. They do not see these teenage girls as daughters to protect; they would rather prey on them. Therefore, you should never trust them.

This 36-year-old man with whom you have been having sex ought to know that it is wrong for him to be intimate with you because you cannot consent.

He can therefore be arrested, tried and sentenced to prison.

You are jealous of him because you are not mature enough to handle love problems. So I am begging you to end the relationship with this guy.

Give yourself time to grow up. Study hard and ask God to give you wisdom as you grow up.
