Senior citizen missing since February 15
Be on the lookout for Harvel Easie, who has been missing from his Barbican Way home since February 15.
His granddaughter, Sashamonie Easie, said the family is worried sick, especially since her 73-yearold grandfather suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and may have difficulty finding his way home.
“We have searched along Jacks Hill Road where he would go walking sometimes for exercise. We have searched the hospitals and just about any other place where he would often go. There are persons who said they saw him along Jacks Hill Road, Papine, Mona Road and Emancipation Park. A security guard said they saw him over by the campus but they didn’t know he was sick. We have searched all that area but we turned up empty-handed,” she said.
Easie is of dark complexion, medium build and is about 195 centimetres or six feet, five inches tall.
Reports from the Matilda’s Corner police are that about 10:30 p.m., Easie was last seen at home, wearing a grey T-shirt, plaid shorts and brown shoes.
“He had got
sleeping medications because the doctors says his memory is completely gone and it cannot be reversed. So this is what really worries me because he will not remember his way home. We really miss him and are very worried about him so we are asking everyone to keep an eye out for him,” Easie said.
Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Harvel Easie is being asked to contact the Matilda’s Corner police at 876-978-6003, police 119 emergency number or Crime Stop at 311.
