Di Mastah bats for aspiring artistes

-

Recording artiste Di Mastah is advocating for aspiring artistes, suggesting that young acts need more support from established entertainers.

He said it’s hypocritical to denounce a young artiste who seeks fame through what some consider immoral means, when some assistance from an established act could make a difference.

“I call upon the so-called leaders of this music industry to support the youth and help to develop young artistes. These days, young artistes get more fight from the person they look up to and idolise,”he said. The artiste is currently promoting a slew of new singles, saying that his formula is to flood the competitive market in an attempt to stand out.

The artiste, who has released songs like Never Give Up, Love Gifted and Hardcore in quick succession, believes the music industry is saturated, so artistes should strive to outwork the competition. “I’m getting a lot of positive feedback with these records right now. My team and I are putting a lot of promotion behind them, and my topics are relevant topics,” he said.

Mastah has a number of other projects in the pipeline. He is also looking to release more uplifting content, especially since the crime rate has skyrocketed in recent times.

BEAUTY OF MUSIC

“That’s the beauty about music. You can fight wars, motivate, build awareness and so much more while you are working. That is why people must do good music, because this tool is like no other,” he said. Never Give Up tackles various inequalities and injustices that affect citizens at the hands of their leaders. Di Mastah believes the song will pull attention to his other releases.

“The concept came about from the struggles of everyday life. I just wanna emphasise that no matter how things might look and no matter what you might be going through, there is always hope. Do not fold to the system,” he said.
