Cabbie mercilessly beats colleague with baton

AMandeville, Manchester, taxi operator has found himself in police custody for the second time in a week.

The cabbie was arrested on Thursday after he repeatedly heaped licks on one of his colleagues on Caledonia Road in Mandeville. He has not yet been charged.

According to the Mandeville police, the man was charged on Monday with unlawful wounding, which stemmed from a dispute involving him and a 73-year-old woman on North Race Course Road in the parish. The woman was also charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

In the latest incident, which was captured on videos that have gone viral, the cabbie, whose name has not been released, inflicted several blunt force injuries to the other taxi operator after a dispute, allegedly over a passenger.

The injured taxi operator has been hospitalised in serious condition.
