Rapper Safaree Samuels is adamant that Jamaican men do not cheat. The musician is currently in Jamaica working on a collaboration with NVasion.

The two entertainers are about to release a banger, which Safaree said will undoubtedly become the anthem for which ‘good men’ have been waiting.

“It’s about us good-hearted men being done wrong by women. Jamaican men don’t cheat and imma advocate for that because we’re just tired of having our hearts broken,” Safaree said.

Following a meeting in July, the entertainers later came up with the song, Stories, which NVasion said is a “real- life story” that speaks to “some things weh di man dem a go chu”.

Safaree, who has taken particular liking to

NVasion’s Dem Gyal Yah Wicked, said the song came about organically.

“He and I were talking on WhatsApp, going back and forth on the ideas, and when we got together it just worked out how God had it set. God himself knows how good us black men are and we need this message to be put out there. People a guh mad when dem hear this, especially the women, ya’ll gonna love this.”

NVasion shared similar sentiments. “Safaree reached out and said we need fi do supmn and we just link up and make it happen. Everything was natural and just flowed. We reminisce pan di Dem Gyal Yah Wicked song and just basically build a vibes,” he said.

“The song means a lot to me because we get the opportunity fi counsel some young yutes and show dem wah gwaan. We nah stray dem from di woman dem because we love woman bad, no matter what, but we want dem know say man have feelings to.”

“We see man a bawl every day bout things weh di woman dem do and how dem wicked so we did affi give them another anthem. A real-life story and we just a express some things weh di man dem a go chu,” he continued.

“The song a guh do real damage locally and internationally. And we nuh want the woman dem fi hurt by it, we just wah dem accept say dem do some things to man too and a say a facts dem yutes yah a talk.”

Stories is produced by UK-based record label Estate Entertainment, which is led by Cara Vickers of Creed Music Global (CMG). There is no official word yet on when the track is expected to drop but a music video was recently shot at the Geejam Hotel in Portland.
