Sydney Mankind teams with Anthony Red Rose

Recording cording artistes Sydney Mankind and Anthony Red Rose have teamed up on a re-release of an ‘80s single, titled These Girls.

“The song is about these three girls going on a trip around the world. It is a fun song that anybody can listen to and groove to,” Sydney Mankind explained. The song was originally released on vinyl and was remastered with a new rhythm and a new approach. For Sydney Mankind, adding Anthony Red Rose to the project was a nobrainer, as he had wanted to work with the singer for a while.

“Every time I see Red Rose, I have always said that I wanted to do a collaborat­ion with him. I told him about this song, he gave it a listening ear and he came on board,” the artiste revealed.

Since its release, release the track has been gaining traction and he is grateful for the support so far.

“My hope for this track is for it to reach the highest point, which is the Grammys, and ultimately for it to make a big impact around the world. I want people to listen to the feel-good lyrics and just have a great time,” said Sydney Mankind. An accompanyi­ng music video for the track was also shot and released.

Now 65, Sydney Mankind is no stranger to the music scene and has been through the various stages of popular music. He’s looking to release the singles

You’ve Been Dissing Me and Come Alive which are slated for premiere on August 26 and September 1, respective­ly.
