Kings vs Patriots CPL final

The St Lucia Kings and the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots will meet in today’s 2021 Caribbean Premier League final at Warner Park in St Kitts.

In yesterday’s first semi-final the St Lucia Kings defeated Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) by 21 runs.

Scores: Kings 205 for four off 20 overs (Mark Deyal 78, Tim David 38 not out, Roston Chase 36, David Wiese 34 not out).

TKR 184 off 19.3 overs (Sunil Narine 30, Denesh Ramdin 29, Colin Munro 28, Kieron Pollard 26, Darren Bravo 25; David Wiese 5-39).

Patriots beat Amazon Warriors by seven wickets in the second semi-final.

Scores: Amazon Warriors 178 for nine off 20 overs (Shimron Hetmyer 45, Chandrapaul Hemraj 27, Brandon King 27, Nicholas Pooran 26; Jon-Russ Jaggesar 2-19, Fawad Ahmed 2-22).

Patriots 181 for three in 17.5 overs (Evin Lewis 77 not out, Chris Gayle 42, Dwayne Bravo 34; Odean Smith 2-48).

The final bowls off at 9 a.m. (Jamaica time).
