Gibraltar is Calling on You

-

Up-and-coming artiste Gibraltar is hoping that his song, Calling on You, will become Jamaica’s newest dancehall anthem.

Produced by Easton Entertainment, the song provides an uplifting feeling with lyrics that are relatable to most at all societal levels during this difficult period globally.

Gibraltar, who hails from a rural community in St Ann that bears the same name as him, said that the song offers encouragement and brings hope to people.

“I want to make songs that can motivate people and give them hope. So I used my own turbulent time during this pandemic to write this song and share it with all who will listen,” said Gibraltar.

Calling on You was recorded at Big Yaad Studio with veteran Studio Engineer Kemar Evans. The beat was composed by USA-based Kriss David, who has worked with Dexta Daps, Spice, Safaree & Nvasion, among others.

“Jamaica, and the world, needs positivity and music is a tried and proven healer; I want to continue to make music that heals because to me that is true greatness,” Gibraltar said.

The entertainer said he is looking forward to working with some of the greats in the sector, hoping to become a role model for other emerging artistes as he continues his own musical path.
