Up- and- coming dancehall artiste Floidy believes music is one of the most powerful forces on earth and it should be used to make the world a better place.

“I want to make a positive impact on the world with my music just like Bob Marley did with his. That’s why I make music to inspire the people and awaken their consciousness and speak to their souls,” said Floidy.

“I did this song to give hope and inspiration to people who are going through hard times. I’ve been through a lot myself and I’ve also seen other people go through some really trying times too. But as the old saying going goes, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger,” he said. Floidy is also currently working on his debut EP.

“I’m also recording some songs that will be released as singles. I’m working non-stop because I’m very serious about my career,” he said.

Floidy, given name Davon Walker, hails from St Thomas and is a graduate of St Thomas Technical High School. He launched his career in 2020 with the release of a single titled Live Life and Have Fun, which was produced by Iz_Meltin and Narco Movement Entertainment.
