RECALL goes back in time

It was lights, cameras and plenty of action as retro party Recall made a return to the local party calendar last Saturday at Kingston Jerk in New Kingston.

With a DJ line-up boasting seasoned throwback specialist­s, including Sanjay and Xynk Fence Sound, complement­ed by DJ News and the up-and-coming Kevi-Di-Kinetic, the vibe was on a high from the onset.

“With the pandemic reset, we see that people are partying from early once again and that’s a good feeling and look for promoters. We certainly hope this becomes the norm again,” said Fabian O’Hara, director of Recall. The event, which doles out music from the ‘90s to 2000s, had an authentic throwback vibe.
