Vybrid urges youth to invest

Determined to create a new wave in dancehall, USA-based artiste Vybrid has amped up promotion behind his recent single, Investment.

The artiste shared that the release of this track is to aid in redirectin­g the focus of the youth who are influenced by dancehall and reggae music. With a clear understand­ing that he may receive backlash, the artiste is confident that the messages he shares are of value, and he hopes to continue making an impact with the track.

“Investment is a song that is fit for any season and any space because it’s energetic, lyrical and educationa­l. The song has been doing well so far and I’m thankful for everyone who has been making an effort to ensure the continued success of this track. Every youth want some investment and mi nah stop say it till every youth believe dat dem need some investment,” Vybrid shared.

Produced by his management team at Howard Entertainm­ent Group, the track is accompanie­d by an official video.

“I have always tried by best to release music that tells my fans a real life story so that they can understand that everyone goes through similar situations. With this song, I hope to change the thought processes of the youth by redirectin­g them to a path that will better preserve their lives, because what we sing often helps to lead the youth. As a creative influence, I am choosing to create positivity,” he said.

Vybrid was recently featured on streaming platform Pandora’s Boasty List with his single Undefeated, which he said pushes him to continue making good music.

“To have people believe in my music and submit it as a track that has been an influence to their lives is an honour, because it shows the music is transcendi­ng,” he said.

The artiste is also known for tracks such as We Connect and These Times.
