Formula 1 Grand Prix

This famous race will take place in Baku for the first time on a circuit designed especially for the event. The cars will race through the centre of the Azerbaijani capital, on what is claimed to be the fastest street circuit of the season, with the modern and ancient buildings of Baku providing a glorious backdrop. The route will be a challenging one with high levels of skill needed to negotiate the narrow ascent along the wall of the old city before driving flat out for 2.2 kilometres along the esplanade that runs between the city and the sea.
