A Map of the Sacred Places of Kazakhstan

Kazakhstani historians and public figures have created a map of the country’s sacred places, including all the most attractive sites, both famous and little-known to tourists. It will help travellers and history lovers to plan their route when touring the country. On the map are monuments to the tragic moments in Kazakhstan’s history, such as the Semipalatinsk firing range and the camps for victims of political repression as well as places related to different legends that are objects of pilgrimage. The list is updated on a regular basis and you can find it on the website of the Ruhani Zhangyru Project.
