The Home of Father Frost

The winter residence of Father Frost is located in the Russian city of Velikyi Ustyug. This is a beautiful spot, especially in winter when its cathedrals, churches and old merchants’ houses are blanketed with snow and surrounded by majestic forests. In the city you can find Father Frost’s Post Office, from where you can send greetings with a signature and a special stamp; you will also find his throne room here and a souvenir shop. Father Frost’s residence is located 11 kilometres from the city and the best time to visit is early in the morning, before it gets crowded. There are plenty of entertainments and surprises on offer as well as the opportunity to meet the grand old man himself.
