In July 2017, I was lucky enough to visit Durban in South Africa. Its size and population make it the third largest city in the country after Johannesburg and Cape Town, and it is a major tourist destination thanks to its warm ocean currents and developed infrastructure. The main places of interest in Durban are the Phezulu Safari Park and the insanely beautiful beach. There is also a huge stadium in the centre of the city built for the summer Olympic Games, scheduled for 2024. The residents are easy-going and friendly. If you get the chance to go there, make sure you visit a crocodile or snake farm and a national safari park, where you can see giraffe and zebra in their natural habitat.
