Сarpet Festival in Quba

Azerbaijani carpets are world famous for their distinctive design and vivid colours, and in

2010 they were included on UNESCO’S list of intangible cultural heritage. A festival is being held in their honour in the Azerbaijani city of Quba (160km from Baku), where you can admire and buy local carpets and also learn the history of local carpet making.
