Oktoberfest,

At the heart of the beer festival in Munich are the huge pavilions, serving beer made from the six traditional Bavarian breweries and forming a ‘beer city’ around the main thoroughfare, the Wirtsbudenstrabe. Oktoberfest has taken place in the Theresienwiese, or Meadow of Theresa, ever since it started. The festival now includes a large market and fun fair, pop concerts and folk music.
