Expansion of the Flyarystan fleet
Flyarystan has taken delivery of two new Airbus A320s, so it now has a fleet of nine aircraft. The new A320s will increase the low-cost airline’s capacity by up to 65 flights a day. The fleet’s average age is seven years. All Flyarystan aircraft are equipped with German-made slim Recaro aircraft seating, and configured with 180 Economy Class seats. On 21 March, the low-cost airline launched its first international flight, Atyrau – Turkestan – Istanbul, a thriceweekly service flying on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Tickets for all destinations are available from the Flyarystan mobile app as well as flyarystan.com. The low-cost airline is a subdivision of the national air carrier Air Astana.
