Mining Indaba promises to be bigger and bolder in 2020

FOR THE past 25 years, Investing in African Mining Indaba has been bringing the mining value chain together in its unmissable annual event.

It is an event dedicated to the capitalisation and development of mining interests in Africa, and 2020 promises to be even bigger and bolder than this year’s showing.

Key topics include using mining to leverage youth employment, price volatility in 2020 and beyond, and sustainable development.

Headline speakers include Hon. Gwede Mantashe, Minister of Mineral Resources in South Africa, and Mark Bristow, President and CEO of Barrick. There will also be an intergovernmental summit, where African and global ministers and decision-makers debate the mining sector’s biggest challenges.
