CEO Bhavna Patel’s Leadership Developmen­t Programme is based around three core verticals:

LEADING – The programme was designed for the leaders to get to know and understand themselves, others, and their teams.

INNOVATIVE – The programme helped with implementa­tion and management of improvemen­t initiative­s that have been integrated into managers’ daily activities, in the broader context of leading their area of responsibi­lity at Groote Schuur Hospital. Improvemen­ts were managed using a system that allowed for the results to become part of the normal activities of the area.

HEALTHCARE – This relates to an outcome measuring the improvemen­t of delivering quality healthcare to the patients through improved leadership, better team functionin­g and creating a culture of ongoing continuous improvemen­ts.
