CASE STUDY: NICOLWAY
This project was intended to reduce the energy consumption bill of the Nicolway Mall, in Bryanston, through utilising 15 to 20 percent renewable energy (the rest being supplied by the grid).
A 1.2-megawatt system was recently installed, using Canadian Solar PV modules and 33 27-kilowatt Solaredge invertors. The system’s performance will be continuously monitored by
New Southern Energy’s O&M department – data will be accessed via an online database.
