The Compass Logistics International Group (CLI), headquartered in Germany, has over the last five years become an important player in the Sub-Sahara African mining and project logistics field. Represented with own offices in South Africa and Mozambique, we offer bespoke transport and logistics solutions to some of the world’s largest mining, oil & gas and construction companies.

CLI has a strong pedigree in moving large machinery, from stackerreclaimers and a ship-loader for the Richards Bay Coal Terminal to dump-trucks, excavators and dozers to mines in West Africa, or mill shells to new copper mines in the DRC. We also specialise in mining re-supply logistics to large mines in Mozambique, where we handle the entire in-bound supply chain through our warehouse close to Johannesburg, South Africa. We provide services such as expediting, order quality and quantity checking, crating and buyers’ consolidations in addition to airfreight, seafreight (LCL and FCL), airfreight or ship charters from any origin in the world to and from destinations in Africa.

Over the years we have built up a large fleet of own trucks ranging from small LDVs, 8-tonners, tri-axles and super-links to step-decks, extendable trailers and low-beds. Our handling equipment includes our own container reach-stacker and truck-weigh bridge in addition to a large fleet of lift-trucks of all sizes.
