Pindulo VDM goes from strength to strength with MiX Telematics

MiX Telematics, a leading global provider of fleet and asset management solutions, is a proud partner of Pindulo VDM, supplying them with a complete fleet management solution that addresses their operation’s efficiency, safety and security needs.

To help Pindulo VDM achieve better control of their fleet, the MiX Fleet Manager Premium solution was implemented to give their fleet managers greater insight into telematics data, helping them better manage their fleets and drivers. This cloud-based platform provides realtime GPS location and telematics data, accessible 24/7 via a mobile app and web interface.

The following value-added solutions were also introduced in Pindulo VDM’s fleet:

• MiX Vision fleet cameras give context to driving events when used in conjunction with vehicle and driver data. Video recordings are triggered as soon as a predefined driving event, such as harsh braking or overspeeding, occurs.

• The MiX Vision Bureau service’s driver coaching programme provides detailed reports and coaching dashboards to proactively address risky driver behaviour.

• The MiX Track and React bureau service monitors exception-based driving event notifications and bring these to the driver’s attention in realtime. All theft and hijacking incidents are escalated immediately. This service increases driver compliance and reduces risk. A wireless stolen vehicle recovery device is also installed for additional security.
